Hi there! Truffles is around 5-6 years old and has come on so much since arriving at the rescue. She was initially quite an independent little lady who very much liked her own space, but since being spayed she has completely blossomed. She is now a much more relaxed and affectionate rabbit and has even started binkying, which has been so lovely to see. Truffles is fully litter trained, enjoys having plenty of space to explore and has a brilliant little personality. She would suit a calm home that will respect her boundaries and give her time to build trust. Once she knows you, she is an absolute angel. 🐰❤️
Diet: Unlimited hay, a small amount of rabbit pellets, and a daily serving of fresh veggies and/or rabbit safe forage. Outdoors: Min 6ft foxproof hutch, shed or large children’s playhouse with a permanent run attached – minimum overall floor space needs to be 3 x 2 x 1m at all times (60 sq ft total). Alternatively, an aviary with a shelter attached or inside (again must be a minimum size of 3 x 2 x 1m or 60 sq ft). For large rabbits: min 10 x 12ft or 120 sq ft total.

Home checks will apply. See how adoption works, from your first enquiry to the day you take them home.
At Keki’s Guinea Pig & Rabbit Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as smooth and transparent as possible. Here’s a summary of our step-by-step guide to help you understand how our adoption and rescue process works:
Explore the available small animals on our adoption pages to find the perfect companion. Please check our requirements for suitable accommodation – which are included in the adoption profile of all our pets.
Fill out our online adoption form or contact our team directly. Please provide details about your home, experience, and confirm that you have read our accommodation requirements.
A member of our team will review your application and aim to respond within 24–48 hours to discuss next steps and provide any advice if needed. Please note that applications can only proceed once suitable accommodation is in place.
A member of our team will arrange a home visit to check accommodation and answer any questions. There is a one-off, non-refundable fee of £10 for the home visit.
Once your home check is successfully completed, a reservation fee per animal is required. This will be deducted from the final adoption fee.
We will arrange a meeting with your chosen small animal, either at the rescue or at the foster home. This allows you to see their personality and ensure a good match.
If you are happy to proceed, your new furry friend can come home once the final adoption fee is paid.
We provide advice and guidance for the lifetime of your pet. Our team is always available to answer questions and provide support after adoption.
