- Guinea pig · Boar · approx. 1 year
- Needs a companion
- £30
- Foster home, Test Valley
Hi there! I am a very nervous guinea pig who had a rough start and is now looking for my forever home. I love nibbling hay, squeaking for veggies, and currently looking for a friend or two. Since coming into the rescue she has started to come out of her shell slowly, however she is still very skittish. So she will be best suited to a family with older children (over 16 years) or adults only.
Diet: Unlimited hay, guinea pig pellets, and a daily serving of fresh veggies. Housing: Please note minimum size cage requirements – Outdoors: min 6ft hutch with run, shed or playhouse Indoors: min 5×2 C&C cage, 160 Ferplast or similar. For herds: increase C&C grid per guinea pig (eg 6×2 for 3, 7×2 for 4).

Home checks will apply. See how adoption works, from your first enquiry to the day you take them home.
At Keki’s Guinea Pig & Rabbit Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as smooth and transparent as possible. Here’s a summary of our step-by-step guide to help you understand how our adoption and rescue process works:
Explore the available small animals on our adoption pages to find the perfect companion. Please check our requirements for suitable accommodation – which are included in the adoption profile of all our pets.
Fill out our online adoption form or contact our team directly. Please provide details about your home, experience, and confirm that you have read our accommodation requirements.
A member of our team will review your application and aim to respond within 24–48 hours to discuss next steps and provide any advice if needed. Please note that applications can only proceed once suitable accommodation is in place.
A member of our team will arrange a home visit to check accommodation and answer any questions. There is a one-off, non-refundable fee of £10 for the home visit.
Once your home check is successfully completed, a reservation fee per animal is required. This will be deducted from the final adoption fee.
We will arrange a meeting with your chosen small animal, either at the rescue or at the foster home. This allows you to see their personality and ensure a good match.
If you are happy to proceed, your new furry friend can come home once the final adoption fee is paid.
We provide advice and guidance for the lifetime of your pet. Our team is always available to answer questions and provide support after adoption.
