Adoption Open Day and BBQ – Sunday 24th May

Looking for a lovely spring day out in Basingstoke? 🌸🐹🐰

Spend time with our rescue guinea pigs and rabbits, learn more about the work we do at the rescue, and enjoy a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon with fellow animal lovers.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of our animals looking for loving homes, learn more about small animal care, and support the guinea pigs and rabbits in our sanctuary.

What to Expect

During your visit, you’ll have the chance to:

• Meet our rescue rabbits and guinea pigs available for adoption
• Learn more about adoption and daily animal care
• Help prepare treats and enrichment for the animals
• Enjoy gentle cuddles with some of our friendly residents
• Enjoy a BBQ with tasty food available on-site
• Browse stalls from local businesses and small makers
• Try your luck at our tombola with some lovely prizes
• Relax and enjoy our spring picnic atmosphere
• Tea, coffee, soft drinks, and sweet treats also available

It’s a lovely way to spend time with animals while learning more about responsible pet care.

Please come to the back of the house, where access to the rescue is located.

Entry and Donations

Entry is free, and everyone is very welcome to come along and enjoy the day with us.

If you would like to support the rescue while you’re here, any donations are always greatly appreciated. Every pound helps us continue providing food, housing, enrichment, and veterinary care for the guinea pigs and rabbits in our care.
